Loosing step more and more on X axis only after reducing the accl/velocity step motor

    Hi guys,
I built this router for 2 years with no problem.
now looks like loosing steps on Y axis only, this is the second time happening after I reduce the Velocity and Acceleration on the Step Motor.

Could this the motor getting weaker ?
    How to tested ?
or does the Controller is the problem ?

    thank you for helping me

Make sure the Y axis coupler is tight. A loose coupler can cause problems similar to missed steps.
