Laser or other. Small runs, mostly one-offs.
I am an artist looking to cut about 2 months of work off my pieces.. .I send you the file, and you router it... pretty simple, I think. I'm in Calgary Alberta, so the closer, the better.
Most of the pieces I need cut are 6" or under and distributed rather closely on an 8x4' sheet. I've never used more than a sheet at a time.. yet. It would be pretty easy to rearrange the bits to fit on whatever size your table takes.
I've been cutting them out with a band-saw and scroll-saw, then filing inside corners and wiggly spots with rifling files and hand sanding. Thing is, I already design them on the computer, for the most part, and I've been using glued down banner printouts as templates.
Yes, I know. I'm a primitive. But I'd like to skip most of the hard part and maybe start making a profit, you know? Or be able to put more time and energy into finish, perhaps.
If you can help, get back to me, I've got some files we could try out to start with. Work-trades are good too, as I can do small welding jobs and cabinet makery in my shop.
