    Exclamation Conquest T-42 Hydraulic

This morning is started up T-42 lathe to continue with Fridays set-up and after having the machine on for about 45 mins it went into E-Stop mode n came up with the error 1000 OVL (OL-1,OL-4).(nuts)

In my Hardinge maintenance book it says that OL-1 is hydraulic motor overload on contactor tripped. It also says OL-4 is hydraulic heat exchanger overload on contactor tripped.

So with that being said has anyone had a similar problem or can suggest an approach to trouble shooting my problem. Any response is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, imac.

Try opening your electrical panel around back with the power off and reset the contactor. Off hand I don't remember which one it is. They use AB contactors which are usually have a small button to reset them.

Thanks for the response, I've tried this and it doesn't seem to want to reset itself. Keeps tripping. So maybe it is a bad switch, or motor. Either way its bad timing as this is the only lathe i have with live tooling and a huge job list for it.
