    Endmill grinding

Is any one using their tormach to regrind used end mills?

I have the 8” rotary table and a 90’ head attachment (to do the end relief). Does the tormach repeat close enough to grind the OD (flutes)? Is there a place to find all the end mill standards (helix, relief angles)?

This is just a personal viewpoint, but I'd be pretty reluctant to use a grinding wheel on my Tormach mill. The grinding grit goes places you don't want and way oil turns it into a passable lapping compound.

A better option might be to pick up a good used tool & cutter grinder and set it up in your shop as far away from your precision machine tools as possible.
