I want a lathe, I'm actually totally convinced that I need one.

I could do with a Sieg C3, but I could also fit the C6b without trouble and both would be within my budget. I want to CNC it myself, and I've been looking for pictures and inspiration from others.

Trouble is that I can't find many C6(b) conversions around. I find many started build logs, but few where one can see the final result.

So if any of you have a build log or pictures of your finished conversion, I'd appreciate if you would share it with me.

i have just get my new c6b lathe and x3 mill from china
do day i have desmantel the lathe and the mill for cleaning and start to convert it to cnc
i will use the original acme screw in the beginning and change later to ball screw.
no the lateh i use nema 23 motor387 oz and gecko G540 drive on my mill i use the same drive with 2 pc 387 z and one nema 906 oz bon he mill.

The C6 is limited by the 3/4 inch spindle bore. The Grizzly G0602, or one of its Weiss cousins would be a superior choice IMO.
