    MPG Cable woes

So I bought a Bobmill (Novakon NM-135) in December 09, recieved it maybe late Jan, 10.
the MPG USB cable was backordered, there must be something very complex about these cables because I still don't have one. If someone from Novakon can help me get my cable, I would be very happy.
I want to be able to do some manual milling, it is just not convenient without that MPG. 6 months, and no cable. HELP!

Do you guys have the CD100 computer? I was unaware the MPG would work with that setup, it would be nice to have.

Yes I have the CD100 controller.

They were working on a USB port cable for it. But its not reliable from what they have told me.

yeah, so far its not working in mach3, though windows seems to see it just fine.

Have you looked into the Contour Shuttleexpress? USB and there's a free plugin for it for mach3. Apparently rock-solid and only about $50. You could tear the guts out and make a more rugged frame if you really needed it.

this isnt a passive cable. its more of an adapter card. i have it on my desk. the software and drivers are just not being seen by mach3 even though windows reports the device as working.

    It's here,,,,

My new MPG has arrived, it feels very good, my shop is in a re-model right now. so I have to wait about a week to test the MPG, I have high hopes.
    Thanks Khai...
