I am new to forums and internet groups. I am a 30 year machinist, but limited CNC. I have a CNC mill that is about 30 years old. It works great but I am having problems connecting it to a computer. I can program anything into it from the controller panel, but a decient size program takes forever. The machine? Jet Mill with Microtek 2800 controller. I have an RS232 output and have been tryinh different combinations of crossover and null cables. The manufacturer does not have anything about this, if it is still the same people. I just want to be able to use a computer to send programs to this mill.
Has anyone out there heard of or had any experience in this kind of setup?

We use Air Jet Mill to micronize the particles.Jet Milling Systems Powder Particles are feed into flat circular milling chamber through a venture by pressurized air. The powder particle accelerates in spiral movement inside milling chamber. During spiral movement particles collide with each other and reduce themselves by attrition and collision. Some high velocity of air used for milling, hence no heat generation. Therefore jet milling is also suitable for sensitive and low melting point materials..
