Question Is there an all in one Z axis kit?

Just curious if anyone out there knows where I can find a z axis retro for my
HF mini mill. I am running the 200oz HobbyCNC kit and Im looking for some way to convert the rack to screw so I can get the entire thing CNCd. Im just looking to avoid fabricating the entire thing.
    Thanks

Not that I know of. I used Ron Steeles plans from the site advertised here. It works very well, but did take some time and a mill to make.Lokk around, you never know what youll find.

:frown: I guess I need to start ordering some parts and get this show on the road. Have any cheap sources for ball screws or acme with anti-backlash nuts?
Any help would be great. Thanks

Cgheck out the conversion log that I did here: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8497
Its called Harbor Freight Mill/Drill and its in the project log. The last half is about retrofitting a Mini Mill with ballscrews and Ron Steels plans. Theres enough pics and info, you could probably do it without the plans.

    Timing pulleys

Do you have a part number for those pulleys and belt? I have all of the other parts sourced but the pulleys and belt. Thanks

Try this site. There is an ala carte section... He has a "z" component, he might sell separately.
