    1097 Safety Speed Monitor error

    Hi there.

We have an Okuma VLT300 which sometimes has this alarm.
No mention of it in the alarm and errorlist.

Anyone knows what this is about?

    Thanks for any inputs!

    Best regards

    Søren

MSM unit (safety speed monitor) contains a lot of components to fail there. Most likely NAIS on-board relays

We have exchanged the MSM unit and it has removed the fault.
I have bought the NAIS relays and will try to exchange them..
It was 1/5 of the price of a new module, so worth a try.

    Thanks for your help!

    Best regards
    Søren
