    Citizen E25J

Been having intermitten problems with our Citizen E25J machine alarming out with a EX007 No. 1. I have swaped my servo amps and alarm stays on turret no. 1. This leads me to beleive my problem comes from either my cable that is connected to the servo amp going to the motor, or the motor itself for the turret, or the encoder on the motor. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this problem and what was their antidote. Thanks.

There should be additional alarms that show up on the control such as S01 Servo Alarm PR:---- $1. The EX007 is just a general alarm.
You could look in the electrical cabinet at the drive unit display & see a 2 digit value, that would give further details.
Most common cause for these alarms is Encoder cable issues &/or the drive unit itself.
