I have a qt pcfusion 640t nexus. I was told by a mazak tech that if I want g-code programing I will have to pay for the option. Long story short, all he will have to do is change a parameter after I pay for the option. The machine will accept all g-codes in MDI so I know the machine is capable. Does anyone know what the parameter is, and how to change it?

There is a parameter that turns on EIA but it cannot be changed without a special cassette. An option file is loaded onto the cassette by Mitsubishi and is loaded in through the Mainte.exe file on the hard drive. The option file on the cassette changes the parameter. It is impossible to change the parameter by hand.

I also looked at this option and its not just a gcode its a full install and was alot of money for what it was its the program and chip set that is added to the computer lets face it most programs are quick to program in Mazatrol
