hmm its because i shall make some 45angle gear on the okuma. I have made a program that are running fine but the problem are that the gear are missing the 7.2 curve on each tooth.
So i was thinking that there must be a simular program as igf just on the computer.
There is "IGF advanced" PC version.
Still don't understand the way C axis can replace Y axis when cutting 45° gear. It's possible using end mill, simple 3 axis movement if machine specification allows 3 axis cutting. It's helical cutting, optional for simple Okuma M lathe
post print/ pix of the part you talking about.
The best way to learn is trial error.
Are you after some sample code?

where can i get the Advanced One Touch IGF - L for pc. i have been trying too google it, but whit out any luck
From your Okuma dealer
Older off-line programming for Okuma was TM-APT ( not on a PC or a Mac, but was a sort of clone of a machine control available only thru Okuma )
now available is ADMAC for mills and/or lathes for running on a PC---still only thru Okuma
try searching for "okuma admac" for more info
sure. A little addition. Both IGF Advanced for PC and Admac are protected by Sentinel based USB (older - LPT port) key
