    Battery change OSP7000L

    hi all

I have an Okuma LU25 with OSP7000L controller.
I have changed the batterypack , but i still get the alarm. As i understand , its needed a diskette from okuma to be able to reset this alarm.

    Any suggestions?

You understand correctly. There is a Battery/Maintenance disc that resets the control data for the battery change. The service rep will have to do this as there is a procedure required. You will get this alarm until this is done.

    thank you for your reply

Im very far from the sevicerep, about 1,5 hour flight, so i wanted to do this myself.
So if i could get the diskette and the procedure, i would do this myself.
I dont think this is too difficult for experienced programmers or engineers to fix , with the right tools.

It's quite expensive to fly a service rep just to reset this battery alarm.

    to the other post :

Im sorry i didnt post the exact alarm , but it's obvious the batteryalarm, and the procedure for this, on this controller.

    obvious the batteryalarm
It's easy to find solution starting with accurate alarm message on Okuma Alarm and Error list or Troubleshooter.
i wanted to do this myself
I would try first bootable 3½" disk and enter maintenance or service on menu.
There is another solution also - You can try re-install OSP software. It doesn't harms, You just need to prepare backup of parameters and user files.

Dose any one out there have a copy of the battery reset disc? Can you send me or better yet email a copy?
