Hi all
I have a VTC200/50 and a relay on a board has gone bad on the tool unclamp solenoid valve, there are spare relays on the board but I can't figure out how to edit the ladder logic. I can only get to the ladder monitor.
Thanks Chris

Is this a Mitsubishi M50 or M500?

Not sure where do I find That information
The Only Info I can find is
CNC Control Box
Type VTC200B/250B #50 30HP M640M
NC NO M640M004460
Serial # 472A004
On the controller itself, if it is Mazak, I can't help.

MU515-12 Ver is on the sticker for the controller
What make is the machine? Is it a Mazak?
I see now its a Mits 640M.
I am not sure if I have the info for this one and MEAU do not have it on line.
If you get stuck, phone mits support in IL and get them to fax the instructions over.

Yes Mazak
I will Call them and see.
Thanks for your help
Chris
Yeah you have a Mazak Fusion control. I have heard it is not too difficult to edit the ladder. If you call Mazak they may edit the ladder for you but they will charge you for it and it probably will not be cheap.
Thanks I have called and they want you to buy the whole board They will tell you how to edit any ladder logic. I think its crazy to go through all that trouble to resolder a relay when you could just change the address..
Thanks Everyone
Chris
Can you identify the relay? Some used a printed circuit DIP relay other method was an output driver IC with outboard relay, previously I have located parts and replaced them for small cost.

Thanks for all the help I have I did find the relay. I ended up unsoldering an unused on and soldering it back in place. I did find a person to give me the code and keystrokes to get into the control but still could not figure out how to edit the ladder.
Many Thanks
Chris
