When i google on 5 phase steppers i can find to types.
a 6 lead version and a 10 leads version.
can someone tell me de difference between these steppers (exept the difference of 4 lead wires (chair) )

If you don't already have 5 phase stepper drives don't bother with them and get two phase. There is more selection and more people make them. 5 phase steppers are relatively uncommon.
bob
i have some 5 phase motors here.
they seem to run much nicer than a 2 phase motor
5-phase vibration motors less than 2-phase motor,
controller with advanced two-phase motor running smoothly, such as step flow of vexta apha
ok, but what is the difference between the 6 wirelead 5 phase motor and the 10 wirelead 5 phase motor
Sure it is not 5 wires?
The 5 wire has all the coils internally connected in series and the wires that come out are from those connections.
See the bottom of page 4.

I guess you could get 6 wires if it was connected as a star and included the center tap.
With the 10 wire would be both ends of each coil and you could do anything you want with it.
Five phase motors are smooth even when run with full steps, 2 phase motors need to go to micro stepping to be as smooth.
this is 5 phase motor conection
