Drip feed mode for Mazak M32

Does anybody use the Mazak M32 controller in "drip feed" mode? There is not much memory in the controller and we are using a cam system to produce G-code. I can successfully send "small" files into the memory of the controller to run them using the Tape I/O softkey. If I use the DNC option, it error's out with "DNC option not installed". Is there an optional board that has to be purchased from Mazak?

All you need to do is put the control in "Tape" mode. (the key next to Memory) At that point the Work number in the upper right of the screen turns to asterisks and the control will wait for data to start coming from the RS232 port. First hit "Cycle Start" on the control then send on your computer and the M32 will take what it can and start running. When it needs more code it will call for it. Set your software to "wait for CNC". When the control sees the M30 it will stop asking for code.

MrMazak.....Thank you so much...It worked like a charm! The Mazak manual does not explain this.
