    Home Position of CNC

    Hi

    Where is mostly & probably the home position of any CNC Machine ?

    1. Back Left
    2. Back Right
    3. Front Left
    4. Front Right

    I see variations of this question seemingly all the time and every time I wonder.
    Why does it matter?

    Unless you are running oversize parts that would physically hit some part of the machine when it goes to home, if you are doing that a lot you should be looking for a bigger machine.

    My machine homes at the high end on all three axes. So all the usable work is at negative X, Y and Z.
