How to change direction of wood grain

Hi, I am need to rotate the grain direction relative to the part and cannot find the option in appearances. I can live with it but would like the grain direction to be more realistic. Unfinished pine is the appearnace applied to the part.

As a general note, SW does change it's UI frequently, so posting what version of SW you're using helps.

Right click the material. Go to Appearance, then Click on texture. In the Texture window, move down to Texture Properties. There should be a slider for sizing, and the one below it is for angle.

    Good luck!

Hi, Its 2010, I tried your approach and it did not lead me to the correct area. I did find by accident right click on selected part, select appearances icon, property manager opens on the left and has 2 tabs, select mapping, planar mapping icon, then slide rotation slider. Thank you, your information did help to locate this solution.
