It should work fine with the ESS.
Have you tried restarting Mach3? Or rebooting the PC?

Yes i have tried rebooting PC and restart mach 3. My Mach Version is R.3.043.062
It must be something that i have missed. it is repeatable and it happens always when machine gets over 900mm in Y axis. Same happens if i move parking position to lets say 910mm.
I think it is Softlimit.
If i disable soft limit checkbox this dosent happen.
My softlimit is set to 950mm in settings of mach 3 so I dont know why it is triggered at 900.
Take a look at my settings is something missing.
Attachment 427190
It might be something to do with the ESS plugin and how it handles softlimits.

But this only happens when running macro, if i jog machine i can jog it to 950mm like it should be.
And if i jog it it has slow zone before reaches 950mm in macro it is sudden stop at 900mm.
If you look picture in my previous post in 2010 screenset under tab limits section program limits, should i input some values there ?
The macros (and screenset) have nothing to do with softlimits. I'm guessing that it's the way the ESS deals with macros and softlimits, and is probably a bug in their plugins.
I'd contact Warp9 and see what they have to say. I don't recall ever hearing about this issue in 9+ years, and thousands of users.

I figured it out, it was my slave axis.
It looks like that when running macro it checks also slave axis soft limits but when joging it is ok.
My slave axis was set to 900 so machine always stopped if i moved touch plate out of range.
Could be because the macro is sending g-code commands. The ESS must ignore the slave softlimit setting when jogging, but not when running g-code??

Now i'm using screen set without problems with movable touch plate for z and fixed touch plate for reference. Both are hard without movable parts.
But now i'm thinking to get a 3d touch probe for XYZ and new fixed touch plate for table with movable surface. Like on photos below.
Attachment 429020Attachment 429022
Is there a way to use macro with this kind of acessories.
Ok for 3d touch probe i would use wizard for Y and X.
But i see problem for z axis.
If i run initial Z zero routine probe will touch off part and then go to fixed touch plate witch is also movable in z direction so reading probably wont be accurate as i dont know what will move first 3d probe or touch sensor. Both has cca same 2N touch force.
Any idea how to implement 3d touch probe in that combination .
Solution would be to use fixed plate without movable parts as that would be true reference, but for safety i would rather use movable tool sensor.
I can't think if any way to use both for the initial Z zero.

I recently purchased the 2010 screen set. I'm still learning my way around the different screens but so far so good! My question is about the DRO/dialogue boxes that appear on my screen that are outside of the screen set area. See the attached picture. The lower box appears on all the screens and the box on the right appears on the Tool Change screen only. I can input numbers into the boxes and they remain if I hit the "enter" key. Now to my question. What is the function of these boxes and does the entered data used by the screen set/Mach3?
They are not supposed to be seen. If you're monitor resolution is larger than the screen, then drag the window to fit the screen, hiding anything outside of the screen.
The DRO to the right is where the fixed plate location is stored. Do NOT change the values in it.

When you run the auto zero initialize, it sets the value of the plate location. So it will be set whenever you use it.
The box on the bottom is the feedrate, which you can change whenever you want.

Thanks.
Good afternoon.
I use Mach3Version3.042.020.
My machine is an ARFCNC 6040 card, USB, with the MKX-IV Mottion card.
Can I buy your "Mach3 2010 Screenset"?
Still for sale?
Thanks.
You'll need a newer version of Mach3, as the version you have doesnt work with the 2010 screenset due to a bug with the M6 macro.
You csn buy it from my website.

I already bought the "Mach3 2010 Screenset".
I await the file in the email: [email protected]
Thanks.

ger21, Thank you, received and installed.
when I try Auto Zero, Z lowers, touches the probe, goes up, low slowly until it touches the probe again and then lowers 2cm quickly.
This 2cm drop shouldn't happen, what am I doing wrong?
Thank you very much.
