Converting Fanuc G code to Seimens 840D G code

Can some one help in how to convert the Fanuc G code programs to be compatible with Seimens 840D. Is there a way or I have to write the whole program again.

    Hi

If your fanuc programs use I,J & K's on the radius call out this will run in siemens, the biggest problem is the cycles. in fanuc you have cycle G83 in siemens you have CYCLE83(). If you program is just plain G-Code without to many cycles you should be in good shape. I use the cimco text editor to search and replace when converting a program, this speeds things up considerably.
