    Magnaturn 1218

    twdeb@yahoo.comI have a Magnaturn 1218 lathe that is different from information I have been able to get on these. I have pictures in the photo gallery of mine and one that is different from mine. When I got the lathe there was 2 wires cut and proximity switch unhooked. With help I have figured out that one of the wires goes to the tool turret encoder. The other I am not sure but it looks like a proximity switch wire. I am trying to figure out where these wires go and how they were to be mounted on my machine. Thanks in advance for any help I may get. I also want to thank the ones that have sent material. But the material doesn't match mine.

    I would also like to find a picture of a JR 105 encoder as I believe that is what the machine I have uses. If you know of any encoder that replaces the JR 105 please let me know. Thanks
