    CamBam 0.9.8

Just a heads-up to let you know that an early release of CamBam 0.9.8d was made available yesterday here: http://www.cambam.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1196.0 Much powerful new stuff like Nesting and a simple (for now) version of a Lathe MOP. Tons of other new features as well.

    Awsome

    Wow Martin... very impressive.

I have been evaluating the 0.9.7 version for a few months now and it has been great but have been waiting to see what you would add in the new version.

This new version goes above and beyond.

Lathe, Nesting, Corner Overcut!!! (I would buy it for this feature alone).... the list goes on.

I am powerless to resist any more ... I just bought a license on the strength of this beta. Well done.

    Hi chunkychips.
Sorry to say I'm not the author of CamBam - that honour goes to Andy Payne, otherwise known as 10bulls. I couldn't agree more with everything else though!

I started using 9.8 just this week. Wow, I'm truely impressed.

CAMBAM used to be a hobby level CAM program that I bought as a stop-gap, now it's a serious tool. User-friendlyness has ramped up too.

Thanks Andy, can't wait to see what else you've got in store.

I have to agree. I have MasterCam, BobCAD, and CamBam and I use CamBam over the other two.

I think one reason I enjoy it so much is because if I were to design a piece of CAM software it would have many of the same great features as CamBam does.

    I'd recommend it to anyone.
