CE Certification, C-Tick and Legal stuff etc.

CE Certification, C-Tick and Legal stuff etc.

So how does one go about getting CE certification and C-Tick etc. If you have been asked to make or convert a machine to CNC, what are the legal requirements to cover yourself?
1.) I'm not an electrician. I can't legally touch the electrical parts. Can I supply parts and get someone to put a cnc control together for me? Then just fit the motors to the machine?
2.) Are there Australian supplies that have cnc control packages that are CE and have C-Tick and are ready to go. Plug and play where an un licensed (electrical) person can connect the motors and the system is good to go?

    Peter,

Why do You need CE certification?
Do you intend to sell the converted machines?
Which market do You wish to sell into?

And yes there are companies in Australia who already do do conversions.
