    DM4000 DM4400 manual

I have a DM4000/4400 operating and programming manual for sale.
I also have a complete wiring diagram for the same machine.

Maybe I should have both of them scanned and made into a pdf file?
Would anyone be interested if I did that?

    PM me if interested

    Manuals Etc,

    Tim,
Please, please convert all that info into PDF's. It would be a great help. Make sure that you include all those penciled in notes as they look to be info/corrections hard won by experience.
Your manual sounds a little different from mine. I downloaded your section 13 from another thread and it is quite different and bigger than my chapter 13 also I don't have anything after chapter 16. My copy is a repeated photocopy and is unreadable in many sections - Gelos in poland sent me an electronic copy of his and it too is different from mine and from yours - seems they changed them a bit. But between his and mine I got something more or less usefull but am allways looking for more complete info. I have found many errors in the manual, some are mathmatical - mainly geometry some are logic in that many of the example programs just will not work. "Q" moves in particular are a real trial! "SCALE" is also an interesting and tricky one to work with, but it does cut a nice elipse! That stack of electrical interface drawings also differs from the actual machine wiring - well at least mine did when it came to replacing the brake delay timer - the diagram was nothing like the machine and the machine was original wiring!
    Fastest1,
In another thread you were inquiring about depth etc when pocketing. I have pretty much got the hang of SKIP programing my DM4400 and it certainly works well. It is amazing how much you can do with just a short program - it is a surprisingly versatile language. If you still need help I can possibly offer assistance either post here or PM me.
Do either of you know if anyone out there has copies of any of the original software that DYNA put out for use with these machnines - I would love to get my hands on it - I have an old DOS machine ready and waiting!

Martin, I could never find the software necessary. Though I am not experienced enough in the field to know the difference, the amount of code dispensed on the original controller was always very short in relation to what I was familiar with (BobCad/Mach3). I believe this was because the skip programming was utilizing internal macros. These macros were not accessible or known to external software systems or users. If I understood it correctly! In the end it came down to if I am going to learn something, I might as well be moving forward and learning modern software.

Unfortunately I've sold off all the original manuals I had.

Yes, I still have both of them.
One is still being refurbished and will hopefully be running by later this year (pictures to be posted soon).
And the other one runs 8 to 12 hours a day full tilt making stacks of parts.
Thinking of buying another (or even two) if I can find them.
