    TB6560 (HY-TB3DV-M) limit switch connector?

Just got my CNC moving about, and now I can see that having limit switches hooked up would be nice. Unfortunately the limit switch connector is some kind of funky little polarized 5 pin thing. Does anyone know what it is and where I can get the matching part?

Is it sort of like a floppy power connector, or does it have thin pins in it spaced .100 apart?

Definitely not a floppy connector, the pins are closer than .100.

Your best bet is to measure the pin pitch and search the DigiKey catalogue.
They have almost every type known to man!
I would particularly at the Hirose style, they usually make miniature and micro-miniature type.
It looks similar to the DF13 1.25mm pitch?

    Al,

I believe it is a 2.5mm XH connector.

But the OP said it was much closer than .1" (2.5mm)?

    Al,

Not trying to be a smart a$$ however 2.54mm is .09999749

Is the user measuring the gap between the pins or the center to center dimension?

    Sorry for the incomplete reply,

    WW,

That is very generous, can you post a good picture of the cable?

    Jeff -

don't have one at the moment...but I have the exact board you posted the link to, and it came with a cable (I fried the board, though)...

"I believe it is a 2.5mm XH connector."

    I have to agree.

Maybe, but if you are catalogue shopping for connectors they are invariably listed as .1" (2.5mm) or 2.5mm (.1") pitch.

Ok I measured the pin spacing and they are 2mm on center. I also took a couple of pictures:

Yep - I have 1 of those exact connectors, with about a 6" lead (5 wires), for no more than the effort of PM'ing your mailing address to me. I'll drop in the USPS tomorrow...

Thanks so much for the cable! It fits perfectly.

Now that I have the cable I was able to figure out what the connector is. In case anyone else stumbles on this thread, it's a JST PHR-5 housing. Here's the data sheet: http://www.jst-mfg.com/product/pdf/eng/ePH.pdf

Auto tool zero / input pins / TB6560

Can I use these pins for Mach3 auto tool zeroing?

If you have the switches wired up to them.

I have a wire from copper pcb connected to GND. The other wire from the alligator clip is connected to pin 13.

In ports and pins input I configure the probe input to pin 13 active high or low?

I don't use Mach3, I use EMC2/Axis. You should probably go ask on the Mach3 forum.
