    deleted program by mistake

i have a puma 160 with a iseries control. i accidentially deleted my program today and unfortunaly the rs232 isnt working on the lathe. i was wondering if there is anyway to look back at the deleted history and recover lost programming. i hope there is some good feed back this will take me hours to re-program.
    thanks

Bad news, I don't think you can. Maybe in the future you can, like Mazak it has PC base then you can get lucky otherwise.

The best way to learn is trial error.

No, once you've deleted a program, it's gone. You might want to get the RS-232 working.
