    Nesting Needed

Anyone out there that can nest some parts for me ASAP. I need to get 14 of these pieces on a 48 x 96" sheet with a .3125 cutter. If it is possible a .375 cutter would be even better. I have tried it in the demo version for bobcad and it works, but for some reason I can not get it to work with my software I have currently. I need to run these parts today or tomorrow so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    ZachF

Have you given this a shot? Looks pretty awesome but I haven't played with the nesting yet.

I don't think you can do it. Closest I can get needs 48-3/16" wide.

You can do it with a .25 tool.

When I did it with the demo version I had them rotated 90 deg. The grain orientation doesn't matter with these parts.

    I appreciate the help.

If 7 takes 48-3/16 the way I had them, then rotating 90° will need ±96-3/8 + cutter dia.

Here is the nest I did in the demo version. I used a .3125 cutter with a .01 additional part clearance. You can see there should be a little left at the end of the sheet. Unless that is just a graphics error on the screen.

    Thanks,

Look at the left side in the image. All the arcs are displayed as 3 straight segments. If it was displayed correctly, the left part would be off the sheet. I've got a .313 gap, and they won't fit.

Thank you. I did my offsets and everything looks like it is going to work. I am going to run one and see how it turns.

    Thanks again,

I should have rotated it. I forgot the two groups would nest and pick up some space.
    Good job.
