    2 methods available

    -Data cable
must be previously set-up and configured,
I think these were like a networked set-up with IP addresses permissions and passwords etc to read from a defined location on a network drive

    -Floppy or USB
which one depends on the machine age---new machines use a USB stick

    now,
which method do you want assistance on ?

Gonna have to say the data cable cause my computer doesn't have a floppy drive and the machine is to old for the usb

I was wrong my computer does have a floppy drive and the machine accepted the program but when I went to pull it up in auto mode it gave me a 312 disk uninitialized error....what does that mean?

the error means the disk format is not the same as the controller's format
now the format on your PC is DOS based, which is how you were able to put the file on the disk
and the format on the machine controller is OSP

there is an obvious difference, that eliminates the use of <PIP> <COPY> ( which is for OSP formatted disks only )

there is another way, OKUMA use a skeleton MSDOS program to enable copying files to and from a DOS disk
and it's use is quite specific, if any info on the command line is incorrect, it does jack $hit

    FD0: is the floppy drive
MD1: is usually the controller's drive
    , is a deliminator

so to copy from floppy thru MSDOS (copy) to the control
    MSCO>> FD0:<filename.min> , MD1:<filename.min> <WRITE>

to copy files the other way---just reverse the drive names

maybe there is easier way to explain.
Find MSDS button in bottom line of operator screen in Edit mode. You will be able to read MSDOS file on OSP then.

Try these functions from your EDIT mode:

    MSDOS>
    EXTEND>
    PROGRAM INPUT>
    FD0: INDEX>
    Select program to input
    WRITE>

Piece of cake simple. It will pull in a program of your choice from the floppy drive. To rename, use Superman's delimiter format.

hy, i don't know on lt10, but on newer cnc's i think you may select a path when using schedule programing ; i will check it again tomorow, and maybe it works 4 you ; over and out

on pselect is an option that allows "path" selection, only if it comes with restrictions as the path should be a "device name"

i could acces only MD1 , AD0 , AD1, thus folders on "D drive", but nothing from outside this partition; also i tried US0, but it did not work

if everything fails, just split your program in 3 parts, or you can not allow the tool from leaving the material ?

... program 1 cuts still here
... get tool back on toolpath for 0.1 .. 0.3
... disengage tool from material on an arc, that is tangent to material and after it goes normal/perpendicular on the material/surface
    ... M02
    ... load program 2
... use feed on previous arc and continue / thus, interruption should be minimal
