Those are friggin killer!! I really want to get one, we go on vacation on a small lake (have a camp on an island) and this would be awesome up there!

Too bad he is not releasing plans, just a kit. I posted over there to find out price and how soon the kit will be out...

Oh Boy... Radio Control has changed allot since I was into it...

I would have never thought a hydro/tunnel hull boat could do that...

I dont suppose there's any chance I could get my outrigger to do that !! LOL

    I want one.
If it's not nailed down, it's mine.
If I can pry it loose, it's not nailed down.

Just when you think there is nothing new left to invent.

I guess these "thingys" are cut using a cnc foam cutter? I wonder if you could make an alum mold and use poly styrene expansion beads to turn them out by the 1000s.

I wonder if you can actually patent the concept of them. It would be pretty hard I guess since they do the same as other vehicals execept they are all in one. probably you could just copyright the design only.

    Paul,
Are these your toys or your groups toys? Or just something you found on the internet?
How hard to control this toy as compared with:
    Normal RC low wing plane?
    Normal RC Helicopter?

I am wondering how hard that boat is to keep controlled when its flying.... It didn't look smooth that's for sure.. The video seems to suggest that roll is not that stable.. I'm just wondering how bad it is..

Very cool video.... I would have never thought it could be done like that..

The first thing that crossed my mind was whether the same thing but in full size could be made. Now that would be a blast!

I here is a Dxf file of the flying boat.

I belive this was posted before Mike made his Hydro Foam, I may be wrong.
seeing this is what sent me into hobby CNCing.
this DXF file needs a bit clean up, 2 cutouts are missing just cut the top and flip over the bottom half to see the mistakes in the main fusilog Rolf cant spell it to night
