    shg 1212 y axis problem.

    Hi, I'm new.
I bought this machine one year ago(used).

the machine a week ago started having problems with the y-axis.
For example when I'm making a cut 3mm mdf and is moving along the y axis suddenly get stuck and you hear the motor straining without result.

I want to know if someone happened something similar.
(Sorry for writing, not my native language)

I dont have the 1212 i have the 0609 but had the same problem
it ended up being the pretensioning nut on the bearing for the
ball screw shaft had tightened itself a bit too much
just back it off a wisker and check if it helps.

Hi richard thanks for answering the question.
We discovered after struggling a while with the machine that was not the y-axis
The problem is in the cable connecting the CNC to udisk (to false contacts).

    Greetings and thanks again.
