    Milling 6063

    I have been cutting parts out of 6061 and then I tried to cut the same parts from 6063 and it just does not cut as nice. I incorrectly assumed that with the 6063 being softer that it would cut much easier but that was not the experience I had.

    Any comments or suggestions? I am milling out of 1/2" plate.

    Milling Aluminum

    We just introduced our aluminum cutting end mills in the product release section of this site. The 2 flute ZRN coated would be the perfect for this application. The speeds and feed are listing in our listing. Coolant would help if you have it available.
