    Torchmate AVHC problems

    Hi ya'll
I spent 2 hours on the phone with TM support (TD sent me a new A80 the other would not cut above 80 amps) getting set up again. Up and running cutting 1/2' at 80 and 100 amps. Great. I took a break, had a celebratory BEER. Hour later put a new piece of 14 guage on the table and BOOM, my height controller quit going down. dont make any since it goes to pierce point does not go down and starts program or it goes down a little bit then rapids up and wont stop, I have to turn it off to keep it from blowing up. I went through setup and configuration but cannot find problem. even tried diff programs with cut off (dry run) but nothing. I am new to this.

TD suppport is closed till Tues (d_mn holidays). I was planning on cutting all weekend(wife and kids gone).

Any help would be greatly appreciated cause right shut down till Tues 9am.

    Thanks

maybe dirty or sticky AHC slide? try jogging it up and down manually while blowing it down. then try increasing the sensor torque. i blow down the rails, racks, and slides between sheets. gets dirty in a hurry cutting 1/2".
