What went wrong with the CNC Brain?

I have not been following this product all that close but have been aware of it since it was announced. I noticed a while ago (long time?) that it was pulled from the market etc. Now it appears the developer has put his head in the sand and is no longer participating in the forum or with the majority of customers.

Can someone please fill me in on what went wrong with the product that led to this mess?

    Thanks

    Chris

Well, I wouldn´t discuss this not so dramatically. We ordered one to our university for a 6 axis robot retrofit. We´re nearly complete now and it took some time. We had some trouble with the unit, but we can "move" the robot.
As all developments, that claim to be good, need a lot of time for the details, I have learned that a little bit more of it gives much more better results.
I think Bruce won´t let his device die at the moment.

On the other hand, if time really matters, just take a look around, the kindergarden is full of alternatives (Mach3, Emc2....)

I don't know if you should be worried but you're entitled to a refund if you want a refund. If you would rather wait for product, well I guess you wait. The builder comes across as an ethical guy but a bit of a mystery. He doesn't seem to post on these forums anymore.

    2 cents from a non-customer.

btw: I find kindergarten to be a happy place.

I nicely asked for a refund and was never contacted.

I would like to know who purchased the "Brain" and is this worth a class action lawsuit?:argue:

    WOW.
If that request was received and ignored without explanation I retract the "ethical guy" comment
