    HAAS vs Mazak

Looking to purchase our first Vertical CNC Mill and under consideration are HAAS VF-3 and Mazak VC-EZ 20.
My question is which is more reliable and prove to have a lower cost of ownership?
Why choose one of the other?

Without doubt the Mazak is a superior machine, Haas compete on price because their policy is mass production at low cost. However, Haas do have good service support and their service techs carry a lot of standard parts in their Haas service trucks.

Mazak are accurate, solid and reliable. Haas build a good machine at a price point, but you may get more options for your money.
