Thanks for all the kind words and pm's guys, really means a lot.
He was real sick but recovered and was hours from being sent home then took a bad turn.
I'm just bummed I wasn't physically able to see him at all but my sister hugged him bye for me.
    Go hug your family.
Sorry for the sappy stuff, projects are still in the works so lets get busy.

This video was shot by me 20 years ago of the fire around my dad's house in California.
He's the one on the roof and giving the firefighters a pop.

    Hoss,
My sincere condolences. I lost my dad a year and half ago and my girlfriend's dad passed away yesterday morning. I don't think it ever goes away but it will get better.

Seems like the worst part of getting old isn't so much what is happening to you (though that ain't great), but what's happening to friends and loved ones around you.

Sorry for your loss. I still miss my parents who died some years ago.

    Sincerely,

    Bob Warfield

Thanks Bob and sorry for your loss too.

Really glad I spent the time I did years ago with him in Cal. we had fun golfing at Mt. Konocti, got to drive around Pebble Beach, on the 17 mile drive.

    Hoss,

I've been away from the Zone for a couple of days, so I was shocked to hear about your Dad passing away. I'm so sorry.

I'm going to go and call my Dad tonight and give him an extra hug by phone. He's had Alzheimers for eight years now and recently had a relatively mild stroke, but we're fortunate that he still knows who we are and is doing relatively well. Time, though, is not on our side...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Titaniumboy
