    Bending Stainless #8 (mirror finish)

    What's the best way to bend #8 Stainless Steel without marring the mirrored surface. Would be sheet of approx 0.8mm...if I can do it...

    I expect the best way would be to use a press brake with a polyurethane bottom die and have the mirror finish side against the bottom die.

    Thanks Geof -didn't even know they could get PU up to that hardness level -learn something new every day!

    If you can't do it yourself let us know, we do sheet metal fabrication, good prices.
