    Question Mastercam connection??

    Hi,
    I would like to know do you connect with cnc machine with mastercam?
    Once my model is done been verifid i don t know what to do???
    i do i connect to the controller module with master cam?

    Does your PC have a com port ?

    Does your CNC have an RS232 port ?

    You need to connect the 9 pin com (com 1 or com 2 at pc) to the 25 pin rs232 at machine.

    DO NOT use the printer port to connect to CNC. That is rumored to cause destruction and stress... (and won't work anyway...)

    As far as from a software perspective, you can use the "communications" from Mastercam or any third party software.
