I have some THK linear rails and bearings that are rusted. What is the best and safest method to remove the rust? I tired Navel Jelly with some wire brushing, but it still leaves some rust on the parts.

Also, how do I get the THK rails shinning like new? Since the ball bearings will make contact with the rails, I want the contact points as clean as possible.

If they are rusty, they are gone.

Hi. I bought 4 rails that had a bit of rust on them and got it out with WD-40. You might want to soak the whole thing in it overnight. Once clean, lube with (the very expensive) THK grease.
