MeshCAM 4 Build, 2 sided machining

Has anyone else run into this problem?

When I load the bottom side, the geometry is about 2 inches south of the y-axis. I'm using SW as the zero.

It appears to be nested below where the top geometry would normally appear.

The same file in Build 7283 looks fine.

So, I haven't had any response to my question.

Is the problem not clearly stated or is someone working on this?

What build # are you using? It looks like there was possibly a fix for this in build 21.

I went back to 18, and it looks a bit strange, but 22 looks fine.

    Thanks, I'm using build 17.

I'll look for the latest build.

In MeshCAM, go to Help>Check for updates.

In V4 I added the hidden option for the zero to be locked on a particular corner of the stock instead of locking it to a point relative to the machine table as it has been done in MeshCAM for years. Unfortunately, I made it default to the new version instead of the old version. V22 fixed this and put it back.

FWIW, the new option would make the whole process less dependent on the exact stock dimensions entered in MeshCAM at the expense of a more difficult setup on the mill.
