    Mark,
    Yes, I have seen in this JGRO thread machines made out of plywood (mostly baltic birch plywood). What type/size were you thinking of?

    Not sure about size or design at this point. but I really was interested in using plywood, got lot's of it, and at the same time worried about it being to uneven
