While it is somewhat dated, if you get TurboCnc (DAK Engineering - Home of TurboCNC) and register it, you will get the source code which is written in pascal. You are free to customize it anyway you want. It is a dos program so it is fairly light in resources and just business on the screen. Don't even "have" to have a mouse to run it.
The owner Dave K, says he should have an update out soon.

Pascal would be way beyonfd my capabilties. However, looking further it appears that perhaps Mach3 allows one to create macros using VB, is that correct?
If so, could a custom front end be used to operate Mach 3 transparently?
Thanks for your help.
I am aware that you can do VB scripts and I have a friend that has tried to implement Mach in a different manner. However the last time we talked, he was mired in the depth of the project and hadn't gotten to far! As I don't use Mach, can't comment much further.
As for pascal, I am NOT a programmer by any means, but I have been able to pick up enough of it to do what I want.
