Re: G540 and E-Stop
Strictly speaking the G540 is not sufficient in itself to operate a legitimate E-Stop, regulations state that all motor power should be removed or turned off, this requires hard wiring and a dedicated relay to remove all power, the input to the controller can be used to advise an e-stop has taken place, but not be the primary source for it.
e.g Contacts on the E-Stop relay can be used in place of the G540 P.B.
