    using bobcad for cnc plasma

    How do you (if u can) change the pierce delay time? And how do you move lead ins and outs? I have v21.I use it for creating tool paths, lead ins, nesting, and generating g code. I use solidworks for drawing. Thanks for any help.

    I don't use v21 for plasma, but may be able to help.

    Your pierce delay time might be defined in your setup menu.

    Easiest if you zip and post your plasma config file.
    Probably found here:
    C:\Program Files\BobCAD-CAM V21\NC Config

    Depending on your config, the pierce delay time may instead be defined in a script file. If so, the config will tell me which scripts to post.
    They would be found here:
    C:\Program Files\BobCAD-CAM V21\Scripts

    I don't have the nesting module and have very little experience with it.
    Can you use the Change>Break command to break the entity where you want the lead-in/out ?
    Normally, the lead-in/out occurs from the point where the profile is chain selected.
