Here is what you need to do to pipe up the coolant correctly.
Leave A with plug in.
Unplug hose from E and connect the hose to the coolant pump.
You should have a wash down kit that plugs into E instead. (the wash down kit is a length of hose approx twelve feet long with a spray nozzle on the end)
B and C - (are piped correctly) one is hose to spindle head - the other is a wash down function inside the machine at the bottom of the Z axis waycovers.
Hope this helps
Ahh, thanks.
I do have a length of hose but I didnt get the spray nozzle. Is that something I can get at a hardware store?
Question, should the pump have a basket it sits in inside the tank?
You should be able to get a nozzle froma hardware store no problem.
There is not normally a basket filter for the pump. There is on the lathes but not on a VF2. There is a basket on the new machines that fits under the coolant return to filter out swarf from returning coolant - but not a basket for the pump to fit in.
Hope this helps
thanks
