Info Required - M49SP-2K stepper motor

I stripped a HP laserjet 1010 printer and got this stepper motor out of it.

Its a MITSUMI M49SP-2K LF 7.5 degree step

I would like to know what type of motor is this and how do I build a controller for it.

    This is my first build.

I want to build a small plotter

Seems like it would be good enough for a small plotter...

To figure out which wire is which, you might read this web page:
    Stepper Motor wiring

And if you run 24 volts, 1 amp, that is 24 watts so it should pull a pen around at quite a few inches per second given a good quality lead screw and low friction bearings.

The Linistepper driver would run it nicely, and give you good resolution.
