    Sodick A-280L problem

My Sodick has a short circuit message when i start to cut, the cables are good and I have 13.8 volts, but it drops to 0 as soon as cutting starts. Any ideas guys?
    Thanks in advance

My Sodick as well as other EDM machines that I have encountered don't like to have the wire in contact with the work when the juice is turned on; try backing the wire off a bit.

like mark says you need to make sure that the wire isnt touching the part. Make sure your DI levels are good. Hold the calibrate toggle and adjust the needle to 0 with the dial above the calibrate toggle. If it is 5-10 on the scales you should be good.
