Hi guys,

I have finally built my heat spreader and heatsinks for my gecko 203v with a PMDX 132 connected on top. I have had the system running without the heatsink or spreader just fine.

The heat spreader and heatsinks are grounded to the enclosure's riser and the pmdx 132 is mounted on its nylon stand-offs from the heat spreader.

I did some testing and found that even on the nylon stand-offs I am seeing continuity between my riser, heat sinks, Negative on the drive psu and Ground pins of the input and outputs of the bob.

Is this correct? If it is it ok for the bob to find the star ground by going into the riser (that is connected to my start ground with a wire) as to not set up a ground loop?

Or have I messed up and should I place the heatsinks on insulated stand-offs and remove continuity between bob and the riser?

thanks
