    Smile Building a Steam Engine

    Hi.
I am in the process of building a steam engine using an 8 hp. 4 cycle gas engine. I am using its current intake valve for exhaust. I have added another lobe onto the opposite side of the cam to open the valve on each revolution. I will be using a valve of my own design to inject steam through the spark plug hole. I will be weld filling the exhaust side of the cylinder head and planing it to reduce the combustion chamber as much as possible. I am converting an old milling machine into a precision cam grinder for future engines. Anyone interested in this project can contact me on this site or call me at 319-462-3327 between 8 am and 2 pm central time also you can check out our website Thomas-superwheel.com or email [email protected]
My future plans for this project are to sell converted engines complete, parts, machine camshafts and heads or plans and instructions for people capable of doing all or part of work.
