    Exclamation Okuma LB-15 ser#(0904) 100-3 Alarm A DIF over x-axis 2F7B

I have a problem with an LDU-600 Drive. Previously this same axis wouldn't work at all. We switched drives and the drive will work the first tool and then cut out using the second tool. It throws the afore mentioned alarm and this code followed the new drive once it was switched out. Uses OSP5000-L control and only shows steady green and orange lights for cutting out and resetting...

    Any help?

    is this alarm resetable?
can you move an x axis by microns (smallest scale on pulse handle)?
is coordinate changing or axis stands still totaly?

    *Yes, it does reset.
*It diplays in inches, not sure if it is or not. We have NO Manual...
*No they are moving, the second tool use is the freeze point, but this was better than no movement at all previously.

    1. manual mode, go to "check mode" (it is F7 or F8 or maybe F6)
    2. find "NC axis data" screen with RDIF, ODIF, RAPA and other axis encoder data
    3. move X axis slightly by pulse handle and check if RDIF is accumulating.
try move x to opposite direction. try the same at another location.
Check lubrication of X axis quideways.
Power off machine and try to move axis rotating the ball screw by hand.
