The manual that came with my Huanyang as a parameter set for frequency skipping. It allows you to setup multiple frequency ranges. I don't remember the parameter numbers but let me know if you want them.

I have the Skip Frequency Parameters, what I meant was not all the cheaper Drives have these Parameters to set, but what you are seeing should not be happening at 50Hz it should be smooth and quiet just as it is at 20Hz

Your motor is very noisy at 50Hz it should be quiet at those settings, something is not set correct or the VFD is doing a really bad job, I don't think you would want a 6 pole motor, it would run too slow for your need

Swap the output wires around, it may run in reverse, of what you want, but sometimes this can have an effect on a motor driven by a VFD

Do you have good Grounding, motor to the VFD and Input power supply to the VFD

Yes, I swapped the wires. The cable from VFD to the motor is 4x2.5mm^2 shielded. Grounding is as as it should be.

As I said I'll try my other VFD and see how it works with the motor. I don't know what else I can try.

I have been having the Huanyang blues,

I have tried for two days to get the VFD to work with Mach3 no luck.

Now I am trying to reset the factory settings I have tried several time to set PD0013 to 8 and factory setting won't restore

Any help is appreciated

Factory reset is PD013 = 01 on some versions.

Make sure the jumper is on pins 2-3.

I wouldn't recommend running with the default parameters, unless you are 100% certain that they are correct for your spindle.

Your Hot wire ( Phase ) is Brown if this is the case then your Brown wire needs to be on the ( R Terminal ) and the Blue wire ( Null ) on the T terminal

You check the spindle Earth wire, with a meter, check the Pin 4 to the Body of the Spindle, if this is not connected it also needs connecting inside the cap so the spindle is Earthed

No it most likely did not change anything, but this is the correct way to have it wired, disconnect the spindle and see if you still get a low voltage Fault

Did you try just powering up the VFD without the spindle connected ???

Does it do the same with the Spindle Disconnected ???

Then check the spindle wiring next, ( U V W Connection to Spindle Connection ) from VFD to the Spindle, U to Pin 1 V to Pin 2 and W to Pin 3 You can check these by using the ( Beep on your multimeter,) With the Power Off

If there is no beep then it has no Earth connection, this needs to be connected, inside the spindle cap a photo of what is needed, this won't solve the Low Voltage Fault But this needs to be connected

I just try now and with the spindle disconnected the VFD don't stop. I don't have any error message even at 400Hz.

Wiring is ok, I check it before several times. With the beep too to be certain.

I had also check all the male pin of the spindle with the beep but nothing work. I'm not very comfortable to open the spindle as it's new :drowning:

Edit : your second picture show U to R3 and W to R1, is it correct? You write U to Pin 1 and W to Pin 3 (as it's wired currently on my spindle)
